Free for students from children's homes

Brilanie Pathways grew out of the Brilanie Foundation's work with children living in children's homes in Jamaica. Young people in care who are ready to apply receive full support at no cost.

We also offer discounted places for students who can show financial need. To protect young people, contact for students under 18 goes through their home or guardian.

Who is behind this

I'm Jamaican, I live in Ankara, and I'm studying for a master's degree in sociology at Ankara University. I have run the Brilanie Foundation for children in children's homes for about six years. When I looked for Jamaican guidance on studying in Türkiye, I could not find any, so I'm building it.

Brilanie Pathways is separate from my academic research. Your information is used only to help you with your application.

Questions

Do I need to speak Turkish?

Not for most scholarship programs. Many degrees are taught in English, and Türkiye Bursları includes a language year for some programs. We will confirm requirements for your choice.

Do you guarantee I will get a scholarship?

No. Selection is made by the scholarship providers. We help you apply well and prepare thoroughly.

Which scholarships do you cover?

Türkiye Bursları (YTB) and other scholarships and university awards available to Jamaican students. We check what you qualify for before you spend any money on applications.

How do I pay?

We'll confirm payment options when you contact us. Installments are available on Apply and Connect.

Can I get a free place?

Yes. Students from children's homes receive free support, and discounts are available for students in financial need.
